Reiki Treatment

Reiki is an energy healing treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. It is a simple and relaxing session while the natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands, breath or eyes of the Reiki practitioner (acting as a conduit) to the recipients' bodies. The purpose of Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blocks, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle body energies, and support other medical modalities, including traditional therapies.

Individual Treatment

According to the International Reiki Training Center, the practice is based on the idea that we all have an invisible "life force energy" flowing through our bodies.

You can expect the following from an individual treatment.  Adjustments can be made to accommodate the comfort of the client.

• To extend the benefits of individual treatment, they should be done in a serene and uninterrupted environment.

• I regularly "harmonize" the spaces where I perform the sessions to create optimal conditions. The session begins with a brief talk through which I explain the treatment process and ask if there is any need or area where particular attention or care needs to be given.

• There will be a comfortable and warm massage bed or futon (I work regularly as Japanese do) for you to lie down fully clothed. 

• As a Reiki practitioner with Masters in various traditions, I usually combine the practices when treating the client. Before starting the session I will have clarified some of the "treatments" that require a gentle touch, friction or sweeping over certain parts of the body (legs, back, waist etc.) These treatments are very beneficial in helping to reduce stress and promote healing by encouraging a healthy flow of energy. They are always conducted with respect and attention to the client's sensitivity.

• After the treatment, we can converse about whatever came up during the session and if needed, make some follow up suggestions.  We can then close the space.

Long Distance Reiki Treatment

Reiki energy connects on our spiritual and energetic levels. Distant Reiki sessions work because energy is not limited by distance. Distance is only a physical limitation, so sessions can be done without clients being physically present. We are all connected, as we are all energy matter and part of a larger whole.

Healing a person who is in the immediate environment, for example across the room, is already considered remote, because we are most likely outside the person's auric field.

 A distant healing session can be done in a number of ways.

•  I suggest a video call prior to the appointment for an introductory discussion and to communicate if there are any specific areas or conditions to address during the treatment.

• We schedule the session for a suitable time when you can lie comfortably, with soothing music if desired, dim or candlelight and making sure you are not disturbed.

• The distance symbol is not bound by time, it is possible to conduct the distance healing at one time of the day, and the recipient ‘chooses’ to receive it at a different time of the day, or even on a different day.

• I can use a proxy, visualization, or a projection of Reiki to send Reiki energy to someone else. The distant Reiki symbol joins me and my client together in a sacred healing space.

• After the session I will send you feedback and comments relevant to my experience during the treatment.  I recommend that my clients also send me their comments to complement and if necessary seek suggestions.
